Q: Do I have to be present while you are servicing my computer?
An adult 18 or older must be present during appointment. If payment is being made with a credit or debit card, the cardholder must be present.
Q: How long have you been working on computers?
A: I have been working on computers for over 13 years. I have been doing onsite computer repair work since 2011.
Q: Can I combine multiple discounts? Example: Millitary, and Senior discount.
A: No.
Q: Do you work on Apple / Mac Computers?
A: No
Q: Do you fix phones, or tablets?
A: No
Q: My computer will not power on, can you still recover my data?
A: Yes. There are a few rare exceptions but most of the time your data can be recovered.
Q: Can you help me if I can not Login to my computer?
A: Yes.
Q: Someone called me saying they were from Microsoft (or another computer company) and that I have a virus. What should I do?
A: Hang up the phone and/or restart your computer. It is a scam. No company will (Microsoft, Dell, HP, ect.) monitor your computer for you. They will not know if you have a virus.
Q: I have a computer emergency and need help right away, how fast can you get here?
A: In general I can reach your location within 90 minutes. Providing I am not on another call.
Q: Do I need an anti-virus and if so which one?
A: If your computer is connected to the internet you need an anti-virus. There are many choices for anti-virus programs. The program you chose should suit your security needs.
Q: I have Windows Defender and Windows Firewall. Do I still need an anti-virus program?
A: Yes you do.
Q: How do I know if I have a virus?
A: There are a few ways to find out if your system has been infected. Your system may start showing popups, run slowly, or function improperly.
Q: I have an anti-virus. Can I still get infect with a virus?
A: Yes you can. It is impossible to stop a virus from infecting your computer 100% of the time. Having a good anti-virus program will greatly reduce the risk of infection.
